You will never see a preset menu at South Catering. The main reason for this is because we pride ourselves in specializing menus around clients’ wants and needs. This page simply offers as an example of the various foods we offer to our customers. Chef Matthew is constantly researching new dishes and they often don’t get added immediately to our website. With this in mind, we encourage customers to ask about new dishes and any dish they might not see listed below. When you first meet with the South Catering team, you will be asked lots of questions that will help us create the perfect menu for your event. Some of the questions you maybe asked are:
What time of year is your event? This will have an impact on what vegetables will be in season from our local farmers.
How many people will your event be for?
Will your event be inside or outside?
What are your favorite foods?
What foods do you not like?
Will there be any guests with dietary restrictions?
What will be the overall feel of the event? Is it a formal wedding, a backyard party, or plated dinner in your home?
